Now we get to the fun part, creating your very own character!
Your character can be anything you want it to be, well so as long as it's not impractical or impede on the story or break the game in some way.
But other than that, if your DM allows it, go crazy. Be the you that you alwasys wanted to be. A dashing young elf ranger or a strong orc warrior? If you can imagine it, you can make it!
Choose a race that is or is not your own. Aside from the humans we've grown accustomed to, we've also got the elegant elves, the short but stout dwarves, the happy go lucky midgets that are halflings and many more! And they all got their unique special traits and abilities.
Then pick a class, a profession of sorts. What can you imagine your character doing?
Will you be a galiant knight in shining armor, brandishing a sword and shield? Or a thief, a rogue of the shadows with stealth and backstabbing being your game? How about a wise sage wielding powerful arcane arts the world could only imagine?
The general gist of how your choices can affect your gameplay will be explained in the "Races & Classes" section.
In this section, We'll explore how your choice of different races and skills can set you apart from the rest and give you unique abilities.
Races & ClassesLike any good story with good characters, your character needs to have a compelling personality and a good backstory.
Are you fighting for good, forsaking your own wellbeing to help others in need? Or are you fighting for your personal greed and lust, forsaking others for your own interests and needs?
What about your background? What brought you to this adventure? A desire for power, glory or riches? Or are you simply here out of curiousity for what the world has to offer?
